From coding in 1999 to AI revolution in 2026 - new website and new consulting company!
New website built with AI tools in two days - and launch of Marius Ottesen Consulting as a bridge between strategy and AI implementation.
The last time I built a website from scratch was as a student in the USA in 1999. Then I wrote each line of HTML manually. The last 48 hours have been an eye-opener: I just launched my new website - built in just two days!
This is not thanks to my coding skills, but the power of strategic use of AI. Combining Cursor, Claude 3.5 Sonnet, Opus 4.6 and Gemini 1.5 Pro, I have served as the architect while the AI systems have handled the coding.
The process has also included setting up version control with Git and GitHub, deploying via Cell and connecting to my own domain - so that I can both iterate safely and have full control over how the website is published and updated.
But the project is about more than technology. It is about Bridge building.
Many managers feel that the gap between AI theory and commercial value is too large. After a period of focusing on theory and frameworks, I have now established Marius Ottesen Consulting. My mission is to be the bridge builder between strategy and practical AI implementation.
