Ro! Ro! Ro!

The Norwegian ro chant has created excitement, debate and attention during the World Cup.

Some like the energy and teamwork. Others think it is too much, or draw parallels to Iceland's Viking clap.

I am among those who like it. Love it, in fact!

Not just because it is a cool idea, but because the power, teamwork and enthusiasm are impossible to overlook.

When many find the same rhythm, with clear direction and shared energy, it creates momentum and results.

This week the result came in on my project assignment at BI. The grade could not have been better. The personal feedback from the professor afterwards made the experience even better. That also meant a top grade A overall in the master's course 'Generative AI for Business'. 🎓

The grade is not the most important thing. But the sense of mastery is worth making room for before a chapter closes and new opportunities open up.

The past year has indeed been about far more than this course. I have built, tested and explored broadly how AI can improve processes, customer experiences and decisions in practice.

In parallel over the last six months I have also greatly enjoyed AI Value Lab Oslo. It has been a practical arena for building and sharing knowledge, and for exploration across several projects.

In addition, some of my collaborators Thomas Holm and Dimitri Oetiker and I are exploring several new opportunities together.

I am still keeping my cards close to my chest. But what we are exploring now is closely connected to what the ro chant illustrates.

Rhythm.
Direction.
Teamwork.
Power.
